Rabbi Yosef David

Rabbi Yosef David hails from Lakewood NJ and attended the world renown Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem. He and his wife Mimi are the proud parents of 6 great kids. Rabbi David is the Executive director of Aish HaTorah of St Louis.


Rabbi Shmuel Greenwald

Rabbi Shmuel Greenwald is the Educaion Director Rabbi Shmuel Greenwald grew up in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. As a child, when making a list of places he might one want to live, St Louis was between the Congo and Dazakhstan. Becoming a Rabbi occupied a similar place on his list of possible occupations. Rabbi Greenwald loves living in St Louis and frequently states, "It's a great place to live but I wouldn't want to visit." Rabbi Greenwald lives in St Louis with his wife Chana and five children.


Rabbi Chanan Swidler

Originally from West Hempstead, NY. He spent almost ten years learning in Israel in yeshiva and lived there, married, for almost 6 years. He came to St. Louis about 5 years ago to join the St. Louis Kollel. He has 5 children, the oldest is 9 and the youngest is almost 2 years old. With his wife, Shira, loves the St. Louis community, its warmth, vibrancy and connectedness.


Mrs. Racheli Staum

Aish St. Louis is very excited to welcome our new Hebrew School Director, Mrs. Racheli Staum. We feel very fortunate to have Mrs. Staum. She brings a wealth of education and experience with her. Mrs. Staum and husband, Rabbi Yitzi Staum are currently the youth directors of the T.I.C.K. synagogue in Chesterfield. There they have introduced a variety of programs for boys and girls ranging in age from toddlers through high school including: Oneg Shabbos (Friday evening Shabbat celebration), Melave Malka (party on Saturday night after Shabbos) and holiday themed events. She is also the 3rd grade general studies teacher at Epstein Hebrew Academy. Racheli Staum earned a degree in special education from Adelphi University and worked in the New York public school system. The Staums moved here four years ago. They live in Chesterfield with their six children.
